Megasol Energy Ltd. is one of the world's leading manufacturers of solar modules. From Deitingen (SO), we supply an international clientele with solar modules and photovoltaic systems for every application. We develop intelligent mounting systems and manufacture solar modules in individual designs. We are particularly successful in the rapidly growing segment of building-integrated photovoltaics. Active research and development activities make us an innovative pacesetter in an extremely dynamic industry.
Founder
Markus Gisler founded Megasol in 1993 when he was a teenager. He leads the company as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. His vision led to the organic and consistent further development of Megasol Energy Ltd. and remains the driving force in the company's day-to-day operations.
Vision
Solar modules from Megasol are intended to be design material from which structures and pictures are created. The integration of solar technology not only into buildings, but into the living environment and the consciousness of people is the maxim.
Locations
The company consistently relies on two locations. Development, administration and production are anchored in Deitingen SO. With a strong focus on customer proximity, individual design wishes are given a vessel. 210 employees work in Deitingen. 140 employees work at the site in Ningbo, China, which specializes in large-scale production and standard solutions.
Partnerships
The company works with a wide network of architects, planning offices, investors, installers and operators. The company also maintains close partnerships with universities and national and international research institutes.
