“Self-promotion”: The technology behind the rainbow
A key part of the documentary highlights the development of colours using our Morpho technology. Together with Fraunhofer ISE, we have developed a coating that generates colours through targeted light refraction rather than pigments.
The result: vibrant colours with maximum efficiency. Despite bright colours such as orange and yellow, the system’s overall efficiency exceeds 90% compared to conventional black modules. This proves that aesthetics and heritage conservation are no longer an obstacle to the widespread use of solar modules.
