Mix and match batteries
Each battery has its own independent bidirectional DC/DC converter. This means that HiOne batteries can be combined at any time, regardless of their state of charge or age. The battery modules automatically synchronise with one another. Manual battery balancing is not required.

Insulation mat
The outer layer protects the cells thanks to its high resistance to temperature and stress, and prevents heat transfer.
Temperature sensors
Temperature sensors are built into each cell. Nine measurement points ensure precise monitoring.
Aerogel insulation mat
Foam and ceramic aerogel between the cells for excellent thermal insulation.
Pressure relief valve
Rapid release of gas as pressure builds up in the battery pack.
Fire safety module
Fire suppression in 4 seconds – independent module protection for every pack.
