Megasol presents the most advanced photovoltaic system: LEVEL Up
Deitingen, 13 november 2025 – Megasol Energie AG is launching LEVEL Up, a completely redesigned system for roof-integrated solar modules. LEVEL Up builds on the success of the previous LEVEL system and makes the integration of photovoltaics even easier.
Aesthetic energy for every roof
LEVEL Up was developed for use on pitched roofs, challenging roof geometries and for individual roof integrations and facades. Full-surface installation creates a homogeneous, elegant surface that completely replaces traditional roof coverings such as tiles or slate. Thanks to the frameless glass-glass modules, the system blends almost invisibly into the building envelope.
The new module series comprises four standard sizes, enabling optimum use of space even with complex roof geometries. In addition, the modules are around 10% lighter than rooftop modules – an advantage in terms of transport, handling and installation.
Leading technology and improved ease of installation
Thanks to optimised cell design, the new modules achieve even higher efficiency and deliver over 200 Wp/m². Megasol also consistently uses frameless glass-glass modules in the new LEVEL Up system. Perfect for mountainous regions, as it can be designed for enormous snow loads of over 4 metres of old snow. With fewer installation components and protection against hailstones up to 50 mm, it is also ideal for low-lying areas.
A key development goal was to simplify installation. The new retaining hooks are even more stable and elegant, and are easier to adjust thanks to optimised installation options. The completely redesigned rails now require only one standardised roof batten instead of two different ones. The support rails allow water to drain away cleanly and simplify cable laying. This makes installation easier and increases the laying speed. With experienced personnel, this is now 12 m² per person per hour.

Greater safety and practical accessories
To ensure practicality on different roofs, LEVEL Up offers a comprehensive range of accessories, allowing the system to be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements.
- Transition rails for connection to the rest of the roof and to the ridge. Eaves rails for a perfect finish are also part of the system and are easy to install.
- Snow guards that can be installed on the eaves and in the field, as well as snow stoppers. For easy installation without annoying shadows.
- Lightning protection hooks for standard-compliant integration into the lightning protection system.
- Anchorage devices for the personal protective equipment of installation personnel, allowing short jobs to be carried out without scaffolding. This is a decisive advantage, especially for maintenance.
- Connection details for integration with VELUX & Wenger roof windows.
