Challenge: aesthetic sustainability
The MATCH Slate Creek Granite solar roof offers an ideal solution for energy-efficient roofing in Switzerland. Based on traditional Alpine roof shapes, the system consists of frameless double-glazed modules that are discreetly mounted on the roof structure. This invisible mounting method ensures a harmonious connection to the roof shingle, making the solar roof hardly distinguishable from a classic tiled roof. This innovative roof-integrated photovoltaic system was used, for example, to modernise the Church of the Sacred Heart in Saas-Fee, without detracting from its historic character.

Mat design
The satinised surface of MATCH Slate Creek Granite is glare- and reflection-free. This also ensures the authentic appearance of a classic roof shingle. When laid on the roof, this look blends in harmoniously with the surrounding shingle roofs. The module also impresses as a facade with its natural look.
Three standard photovoltaic module formats for maximum flexibility
The MATCH Slate Creek Granite solar modules enable seamless integration without additional tinsmith work. The photovoltaic modules are attached to the roof using the discreet MATCH hooks, creating a flawless transition to the roof edge. Thanks to the three standard formats, the system offers maximum flexibility and adapts ideally to different roof shapes to enable full-surface and aesthetic integration.
